Our journey
Paul's Welding and Repair is Established

In 1979, Paul Miller embarked on a journey in Nappanee, Indiana, by establishing a family-owned welding shop known as Paul’s Welding and Repair. Guided by his Christian values and innovative spirit, Paul laid the foundations of what would evolve into a thriving enterprise.
Company evolution

Paul’s sons—Ryan, Darren, and Kyle—followed in their father’s footsteps. From a young age, they picked up a weld gun and torch, becoming part of the family business early on. What started as a simple welding shop gradually grew into a leading provider of innovative material handling solutions for the local RV industry.
Product development

PWI takes delivery of its first PCR 31 CNC plasma cutting machine and designs what would be its first product line, the ULTRALITE workstation crane series.
Paul Miller passes

Paul Miller loses his battle with cancer at the age of 62. His three sons Ryan, Darren, and Kyle assume ownership and carry on his legacy.

Campus Expansion

PWI expanded it’s facilities every year from 2018-2024, increasing it’s office and manufacturing space to 230,000 square feet.
New branding launch

PWI introduces a refreshed brand identity that reflects who we are today—and where we’re headed. This is not a reset, but a refinement. Our new brand captures the innovative drive, relentless grit, and strong company culture that have always defined us.
