Job Description
PWI is seeking a driven and experienced Branch Manager to develop a new Lancaster, Pennsylvania, branch. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, including sales, service, and customer satisfaction, across all product lines—cranes, mezzanines, fall protection, and structural deck.
The Branch Manager will play a critical role in building PWI’s presence in the Pennsylvania and surrounding states market by growing revenue, developing a local team, and ensuring operational excellence. While some responsibilities will scale up as the branch grows, this position is designed to evolve into leadership of a major installation and service hub for the region.

Character
- Strong Leadership: Proven leadership in operations or sales, preferably in construction, crane, or industrial sectors.

Education or Experience
- Leadership Experience: Experience managing teams in operations or sales, ideally in construction or industrial fields.
- Operational Management: Strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, safety, and logistics.
- Industry Experience: Construction or mechanical experience is advantageous. Must be able to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings. Experience with metal fabrication is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Active Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a medical certification to drive a CMV. (CDL is preferred)
- Industry Certifications: Relevant certifications preferred, though industry experience is highly valued. Must be willing to obtain additional safety and operations certifications.
Other Skills & Abilities
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with operational and management tools.
- Resource Management: Competence in managing resources, inventory, and budgets.
- Computer Literacy: able to utilize email, datasheets, and proficient in learning and utilizing various software tools. Will be asked to use computers, smartphones, and tablets to accomplish daily work
Physical Abilities
- Mobility: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and use hands and fingers to handle or free objects. They may also be asked to climb into equipment and operate it.
- Tool Use: The use of common hand tools and occasionally sharp tools is involved.
- Strength: The employee may be asked to move and/or lift objects up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Vision: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Cognitive and Communication Abilities
- Math and Measurement: Able to perform basic math using money, weight, and distance measurements.
- Communication: Able to communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees in both verbal and written forms, both in person, on the computer, and over the phone.
- Analytical: Able to make strategic decisions based upon operational metrics and situational details
Location
- Willing to work on-site in a developed branch location within the Lancaster, Pennsylvania region
- Willing to attend up to one month of initial training at PWI in Nappanee, Indiana (expenses covered and a minimum of one week of additional training annually.
- Willing to drive or fly as needed for onsite visits within the provided regions and as assigned.

Compensation
$80,000 – $95,000 annual salary plus sales team performance bonus

7:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday
