FAQs

  • What do I do if my hoist doesn’t work?

PWI offers support Monday — Friday 5:00 AM — 2:30 PM EST. Contact our service team by phone (574) 646-2015.

  • How do I maintain my hoist?

In general, keep your chain oiled and don’t lift over the rated capacity.

  • If a CM hoist stops moving up, what should I check?

Limit switches can move if the chain is constantly run all the way up to the top. In order to avoid this, don’t run the chain all the way to the top.

  • The chain on my hoist will go down, but it won't go up. What's wrong?

It’s usually the limit switch. Manually move the toggle up and down a few times and it should start working again.
