The Coffing JLC Electric Chain Hoist is engineered and built for the heavy-duty demands of all of your industrial needs. The Coffing JLC Electric Chain Hoist features a multiple disc motor brake, overload clutch, and chain end stop for your safety.

Easy Access for Maintenance

The panel plate’s location gives you easy access to controls and motor leads for changing the voltage on the dual-voltage motors or when servicing the hoist. The connection wires are numbered to assist with easy maintenance.

Heavy-Duty Motor Brake

Multiple disc motor brake with direct acting design provides you with positive load spotting and holding.

Smoother Lifting & Reduced Chain Wear

The 5-pocket load sheave increase chain and sheave engagement by 25% when compared to hoists with a conventional 4-pocket sheave.

Adjustable Limit Switches

It’s now easier than ever to regulate upper and lower load travel. Brass nuts are the standard for improved switch setting and repeatability. The stainless steel limit switch is standard for the Coffing JLC Electric Chain Hoist.

Protect your hoist, operator, and supporting structures from damaging overloads, chain jamming, and reverse phasing with the mechanical overload protection device.

  • What is Variable Speed?

    Variable Speed gives you the power to choose the lifting speed of your hoist with just the twist of a knob on your pendant.

  • How do I maintain my hoist?

    In general, keep your chain oiled and don’t lift over the rated capacity.

  • If a CM hoist stops moving up, what should I check?

    Limit switches can move if the chain is constantly run all the way up to the top. In order to avoid this, don’t run the chain all the way to the top.

  • The chain on my hoist will go down, but it won't go up. What's wrong?

    It’s usually the limit switch. Manually move the toggle up and down a few times and it should start working again.
